English: Parsonsia straminea, common silkpod or monkey rope, is a climbing plant occurring in areas of 7th Brigade Park that are not subject to burning. It climbs high into the canopy on trees that have persistent bark, attaching by its adventitious roots. It is a favourite food plant for many larval and adult butterflies.
