English: The point of no return was the spot where the slaves were taken away to unknown lands after they had trekked to the Atlantic ocean. At the extreme of this peninsula, they would have been given a drink from the slave spirit attenuation well which made them loose their homeland memories and become less aggressive and submissive to the instructions of the foreign slave dealers.
