Summary

Description
English: The image portrays the Pārśvanātha Jina sheltered by his attendant deity Dharaṇendra, The sculpture is rare as it presents the serpent king in semi-human form rather than as a canopy of cobra hoods over the Jina’s head. In the upper left corner a demon called Śaṁbara (or Meghamālin) tries to disrupt the Pārśvanātha's meditation by hurling a boulder at him.
