Description
English: The cross at Mt Misery, Dartmoor probably marking the route for monks travelling between Buckfast & Tavistock. In the background the basin is Fox Tor mire, a peat bog. It may well have been the inspiration for Grimpen Mire in the "Hound of the Baskervilles"
Français : La croix de Mount Misery, dans le Parc naturel du Dartmoor, marquant probablement la route utilisée par les moines voyageant entre Buckfast et Tavistock. À l'arrière-plan on peut observer le bourbier de Fox Tor, qui pourrait avoir inspiré le bourbier de Grimpen dans Le Chien des Baskerville.
