Summary

Description

This navigational chart is one of the stellar diagrams included in the Wubei Zhi (chapter 240, folio 22 v.). The chart specifies the guiding stars enroute from Deogarh to Hormuz. It appears as stellar diagram I in "Appendix 6: Four stellar diagrams" of Mills' Ying-yai Sheng-lan: 'The Overall Survey of the Ocean's Shores' [1433] (1970).

Note: The Mao Kun map itself comprises 40 pages in chapter 240 of the Wubei Zhi from folio 2 v. to 22 r. (Mills 1970, 238), while these four stellar diagrams come after the map.
