Summary edit
Picture of Sir John Barker, 1st Baronet (6 April 1840 -16 December 1914). British retailer, founder of Barkers department store in Kensington, London, UK. Awarded a baronetcy in 1908. Liberal MP (Member of Parliament) for Penrhyn and Falmouth 1906-1910. Found at genealogy site http://www.geocities.com/jillycoles/barkerjohn.html Studio picture taken 1908-1910, so we can probably assume that the unknown photographer died more than 70 years ago, i.e. before 1936, unless the photographer was very young at the time.
