Summary

Description
English: Recording of The Gong, a numbers station operated by East German secret services. The transmission began with eight separate chimes from an old clock. Each message was composed of five digits corresponding to the agent's code, followed by a coded message [1]. The female voice was generated by the Stasi Sprach/Morse Machine, manipulated in a way that made it sound higher than the default tone [2].
