The episode in question features the performance work of both Steve Kiziak and Arlene Pileggi as doppelgängers of Mulder and Scully (played by David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson). This image clearly shows the two actors in the context of the episode and is invaluable to the reader's understanding and visualization of the scene. In addition, Kathy Griffin appears in the episode as the main antagonist. Her performance was derided by many critics, one of whom wrote "Griffin […] simply is not up to the task; she can not differentiate Betty and Lulu at all."
