Notes
  • Significance: The Columbus Historic District is approximately 166 acres of historic structures dating from 1828 to the late 1930s. This part of the city retains its original grid, wide tree lined streets, and some of the original brick streets. Not only is the area important as an example of early city planning, but it contains a large number of intact structures featuring many architectural styles and types as well as a type indigenous to Columbus.
  • Survey number: HABS GA-2313
  • Building/structure dates: ca. 1828- ca. 1930 Initial Construction
