English: Chamberlin came to Eau Claire in 1856 as a salesman for the Ingram and Kennedy Lumber company. He built this house in 1881 in Second Empire style. After a fire he added Queen Anne and Classical Revival elements. Today it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
