Summary

Description

The former Wesleyan chapel at Rodley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. This building and an accompanying Sunday School were designed by Alfred Hill Thompson and completed in 1871. In 1973 the chapel was demolished; its site is now a car park. The school building has been converted into a chapel, which is now named the Church in Rodley.

Note the original 1871 stencilled wall paintings, the organ, the choir stalls, the pews, the choir stalls, and the wooden platform pulpit with triptych above, showing verses from Exodus in three languages.
