Summary

Description

Belfry in tower of St Michael and All Angels Church, Beckwithshaw, North Yorkshire, England. The legend on the bells says "Mears & Stainbank Founders London". There is no public access to the belfry or roof.

View through frame looking north-west. The wheels on the right belong to bell 1 (above) and bell 2 (below) - you can see part of bell 1 and its red wrought-iron clapper in the top right corner. Through the frame on the left you can glimpse part of bell 3 and its SG clapper. Through the wheel of bell 2 (bottom right) you can glimpse part of the wheel of the hidden tenor bell 6, which is fixed in the lower tier of the far north-west corner of the frame.
