The inscription records that Maharaja Satrubhanjadeva, was the son of Maharaja Manabhanja and Mahadevi Damayanti of the Naga family. He made gifts of lakhs of Hiranya or gold coins and made grants at various Mathas. He built houses and monasteries for monks who belonged to different religious communities. He has been described as the store house of superior knowledge and built a temple of Lord Siva.
