Summary

Description
English: What is arteriosclerosis? Arteriosclerosis is a term used to describe when an artery becomes hardened, thickened, or less elastic. It's an umbrella term that includes atherosclerosis, Monckeberg sclerosis, and arteriolosclerosis—which can be further broken into hyaline arteriolosclerosis and hyperplastic arteriolosclerosis. This video covers the differences between these types of arteriosclerosis, as well as the significant and most common complications.
