In early November, we released 1400 Arctic Charr into Padarn Lake, Llanberis. In December 2016, we had collected eggs from Charr in Afon Bala, as part of our conservation programme for these unique fish. The fish were reared in our hatchery – and here they are being returned at 11 months old. Great news for wildlife and everyone’s enjoyment of the lake and its enigmatic residents! |
