English: An Amiga 2000 loading the game Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 from floppy disk. Game audio has been muted.
This game uses a non-AmigaDOS disk format which causes loading sounds to be quite different from a standard AmigaDOS disk such as Workbench. The metal case of the Amiga 2000 is also very large and resonant and (at least in this case) mostly empty, making the disk sounds even louder. The whooshing noise is from the Amiga's case fan. Recorded with a Blue Yeti microphone. |
