English: A tug towing a small sailing vessel

Photograph of an oil painting on canvas showing a small sailing vessel being towed by a tug, viewed from off the starboard quarter. The signature of the artist, Jean Marion, appears in the bottom right corner.

Marion worked on the coasts of France, Belgium and Holland. He took part in the Allied Artists' Association Ltd annual exhibition at the Royal Albert Hall (the London Salon) in 1911 and 1912. During this period he also exhibited seascapes at Le Salon, 26A Albemarle Street, London.
