Français : Amédée Ménard : Le roi Gradlon (vers 1850, maquette en plâtre pour une sculpture de granite, musée des beaux-arts de Quimper). La statue définitive, commandée par l'architecte finistérien René Bigot, fut placée entre les tours de la cathédrale Saint-Corentin de Quimper en 1858 pour remplacer une statue équestre du même roi Gradlon qui était déjà à cet endroit et qui avait été détruite en 1793. |
