Everett Water Pollution Control Facility

The Water Pollution Control Facility in Everett, Washington is the wastewater treatment plant for Everett and surrounding area. It discharges treated water into the Snohomish River. The facility is adjacent to Spencer Island Regional Park, on Spencer Island in Snohomish River, noted for birdwatching.[1][2] An extensive lagoon system and mechanical treatment plant expanded in 2005–2007 can treat a combined 36,000,000 US gallons (140,000,000 l; 30,000,000 imp gal) of wastewater daily.[3]
