Ella Elli is a 2,200-square foot, 75-seat restaurant and bar[6] in Lake View, Chicago.[7] The restaurant serves Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with Californian influences.[3] The small plates[8] menu has included toasts, sliced carrots, pizza,[9] Greek marinated chicken thighs,[10] pastas, and burgers.[11] The happy hour menu has included polenta fries and shrimp with n'duja.[12] Ella Elli also serves brunch with cocktails.[13] It has a lounge area with a fireplace.[14]

The restaurant opened in March 2017.[15][16] Ella Elli was among other restaurants seeking financial support for workers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.[17]
Reception edit
Food & Wine deemed Ella Elli the most romantic restaurant in Illinois in 2022.[18][19] Time Out Chicago has rated the restaurant four out of five stars.[20]
