Elegy (Shadow of Intent album)

Elegy is the fourth album by deathcore band Shadow of Intent. The album was released on January 14, 2022.[11] It is their first album with drummer Bryce Butler of Contrarian.[12] The album was ultimately met with great critical acclaim.[8] A deluxe edition of the album was released digitally on September 9, 2022. An orchestral version of the album titled Elegy: The Soundtrack was released on March 8, 2024.

The band has done some touring in support of the album. In October and November 2021, the band and Signs of the Swarm supported Born of Osiris in the Angel or Alien tour.[13] In early 2022, Shadow of Intent toured the United States alongside Cannibal Corpse, Whitechapel, and Revocation.[14]
