Drienov (Hungarian: Somos) is a village and municipality in the Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.

The village was first mentioned in historical records in 1284.

Geography

The municipality lies at an elevation of 226 metres (741 ft) and covers an area of about 20.26 km2 (7.82 sq mi) (2020-06-30/-07-01).[1]

It has a population of about 2,254 people (2020-12-31).[2]
