The author of the article states here that the contents of the article stems from an interview he made with Samsak. This is therefor original research. Furthermore, the author states here that the purpose of the article is to "contribute to increased awareness, understanding and appreciation of his contributions and the wider context of Uyghur politics and struggle for independence".
