Hey FloridaArmy, I expanded the citations and now I am unsure about the notability - it appears for some 40+ years Foster was an executive at Macy's (not particularly notable). However he had two other relatives with the same name (his son, and maybe grandson). I saw citations in Google Books about Lemuel L. Foster, "president of Fisk University" around 1910/1918, but when I looked up the list of former Fisk Uni. presidents, nobody by that name came up. Thanks very much for your help User:PigeonChickenFish! I believe he is covered in several books? I think he passes the gng guideline quite easily per substantial coverage over many years during his career soanning from singer, public official, to business executive. NYT obituary.
