Independent sources edit

@Maslen: I'd rather reply to you here than by email–I don't really see how reference 5 could be considered independent, it's literally hosted on Microsoft's website. #4 meanwhile just doesn't seem like that reliable of a source (it's borderline, but it definitely doesn't meet notability guidelines on its own). signed, Rosguill talk 05:02, 5 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

My bad. I had the wrong title on the citation. I'll try to add some more sources and submit for re-review. Maslen (talk) 10:42, 5 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Rosguill: Could you please re-review? Maslen (talk) 14:52, 13 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Maslen: Unfortunately I don't believe the current sourcing is much better:
[1] is a Microsoft source
[2] is a blog (see WP:BLOGS)
[3] despite looking like a research paper (and written by what appears to be a well-cited researcher), does not appear to have been published in a peer-reviewed journal (although it does mention individuals who reviewed the paper). Nevertheless, it is currently the strongest source cited in the article.
[4] is written by one "Cliff Hobbs, Microsoft MVP in Enterprise Mobility", and opens with a clearly promotional header "Why You Need Credential Guard"
[5] is another Microsoft source
If you can't find additional sources, you may want to consider adding content about Credential Guard to a section in the Windows 10 article, since that's the OS it shipped with. You can even keep this article as a redirect, so that if more sources are available in the future, you can easily expand it. signed, Rosguill talk 15:07, 13 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
