"You Can Strike Oil - In Hollywood" is a maxi single by the American band The Sheikettes. Released in 1978 via Jet Records, the single features the A-side track "You Can Strike Oil - In Hollywood" and the B-side track "Lost Weekend." The band consisted of Avril Giacobbi, Carol Connors, and Sharon Osbourne.

Background

The Sheikettes were formed by three talented women with diverse backgrounds in the music and entertainment industry. The group's distinctive sound and engaging lyrics were captured in this single, which remains a testament to their musical abilities.
