Despite a lot of cancer research, cancer remains the second leading cause of death worldwide. However, scientists might have just gotten the upper hand by looking at cancers from the angle of the gut microbiota. Our gut bacteria influence our health in more ways that we thought possible and boosting them with probiotics, like yogurt, might just be a step in the right direction in the fight against cancers
