William A. Lee (December 11, 1859 – September 1926) was chief justice of the Idaho Supreme Court from 1921 to 1926. He received his J.D. from the Washington University School of Law in 1885.
Born in southeast Nebraska, Lee received an LL.B. from Washington University in St. Louis in 1885 and entered the practice of law in Nebraska. He moved to Ogden, Utah, in 1892, and in 1911 moved to Idaho at the behest of his employer, the American Falls Canal & Power Company. He then established his own legal practice in the state, and was elected to the Idaho State Senate in 1918, and to one of two newly established seats on the Idaho Supreme Court in 1921, taking office the following year.
