Vitale "Lino" Vidal born on the 27th September 1911 in Venice, (September 27 1911 – January 29, 2002) was an Italian chemist, entrepreneur, and industrial leader known for revolutionizing the world of cosmetics and packaging. He is best known for inventing the Pino Silvestre bubble bath and for his role in managing the Vidal company, founded in the industrial zone of Porto Marghera in the early 20th century. The Vidal name is widely recognized as one of the most famous cosmetic brands in Italy, synonymous with quality and tradition. Equally iconic is Pino Silvestre, celebrated as the most famous shower gel ever made in Italy.

Vitale Vidal, known as Lino, was born in 1912. Raised in a large family, Lino was one of nine children of Angelo Vidal, the founder of the Vidal company. From a young age, Lino demonstrated a keen curiosity and passion for chemistry, which would later influence his entire career.

Industrial Career

After the death of his father Angelo, Lino and two of his brothers, Renzo and Mario, took over the family business. Under their leadership, Vidal grew to become one of the leading brands in the cosmetics, perfumery, and detergents sectors.
