Tenacious D had this to say about the song’s background: “It’s about growing up and leaving childish things behind…. But then realizing that video games are more than just mindless toys…. In fact, they can be a true expression of huge ideas that belong in the pantheon of great works of art! It’s about time someone defended the honor and integrity of this bold new horizon. The music video for the song was uploaded to YouTube on May 11th 2023 and was directed by animator Adam Paloian.[5] The video features Jack Black and Kyle Gass animated into various video games such as Fallout 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2. The video was animated by Noah Williamson.
