Victoria Browning Wyeth is the granddaughter of renowned artist Andrew Wyeth and the great-granddaughter of the renowned illustrator N.C. Wyeth and the niece of contemporary realist Jamie Wyeth. She gives lectures about her artistic relatives.

Victoria graduated from the Nightingale-Bamford School in New York. During her sophomore year in high school, Victoria began working as a docent at the Farnsworth Art Museum in Maine. Her role involved guiding visitors through the museum's Andrew Wyeth Collection.[1] She earned her B.A. in American Cultural Studies from Bates College in Maine. Her academic journey continued with a year as a Visiting Graduate Student at Harvard University, where she explored the history of science and medicine. Later, she pursued a Master of Arts degree in the History of Clinical Psychiatry at Wesleyan University.[citation needed]

Exhibitions edit

Wyeth curated her first museum exhibition, titled "Andrew Wyeth: Her Room," during her senior year at Bates College. The exhibition delved into her grandfather's process in creating a tempera painting called "Her Room" (painted in 1963). In 2011, she curated "Andrew and Jamie Wyeth: Selections from the Private Collection of Victoria Browning Wyeth" for her 10th college reunion at Bates College. And in 2017, "Andrew Wyeth at 100: A Family Remembrance" at the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown, New York. This exhibition celebrated Andrew Wyeth's 100th birthday and featured loans from Victoria's personal collection.[citation needed]
