Venturetec was an Australia-based management consulting firm founded in 2014.
Venturetec initially started as a startup accelerator investing in B2B tech startups in the Asia Pacific region before pivoting into becoming a management consulting firm.[1] In 2015, Venturetec formed a strategic partnership with German software giant SAP.[2] The boutique firm specialised in innovation consulting, reportedly working on over 80 innovation and venture building projects with clients across seven countries.[3]
Venturetec was a certified B Corp and was active in promoting environmental and social responsibility of businesses.[4]
In 2018, Venturetec was engaged by Singapore Press Holdings to deliver an innovation transformation program as part of the media conglomerate's business turnaround strategy.[5]
Venturetec's revenues are estimated to be $4.3M.[6]
In February 2021, Venturetec was acquired by McKinsey & Company to boost McKinsey's digital practice in Australia, the terms of the acquisition are undisclosed.[7][8]
