Tulsi (Hindi: तुलसी; English: Basil Plant) is a 1985 Bollywood film directed by Veerendra and produced by Bishwanath Prasad Shahabadi, starring Inder Thakur and Sadhana Singh in lead role. The film has supporting cast including Sachin Pilgaonkar, Gulshan Grover, Rammohan Sharma and Dulari

Plot edit

An army man Ganesh Singh (Inder Thakur) falls in love with a village girl named Tulsi (Sadhana Singh), But Tulsi's father refuses to marry Tulsi with Ganesh, as Ganesh hails from a low class. However Tulsi marries Ganesh Singh. After some time, Ganesh Singh went to a war and after that he reported to have died in war, but Tulsi have a faith that he is alive, as she refuses to break her marriage bangles and refuses to wipe off her sindoor.
