Trust is an upcoming miniseries for HBO starring Kate Winslet. It is an adaptation of the Hernan Diaz 2022 novel of the same name.

editIn June 2022, it was revealed that HBO had acquired the rights to the Hernan Díaz novel. Díaz was announced as an executive producer on the project alongside Kate Winslet as producer and star.[1][2] In June 2024, the writer-director for the project was reported to be Todd Haynes. Haynes had previously mentioned he was working with Winslet and HBO on an named series in 2023.[3][4] Haynes is co-writing with Jon Raymond with both executive producers alongside Winslet, Diaz, and Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler of Killer Films.[5] The miniseries will mark Winslet's third executive producer credit on a HBO series after The Regime, and Mare of Easttown, and fourth in a lead role in an HBO drama series, including Mildred Pierce on which she also worked with Haynes.[6]
