"Tightrope Ride" is a song by the American rock band The Doors released as a single in 1971.

Lyrics

The lyrics address Morrison's self-destructive style of life.^[1]

Reception

Record World said the song was a "knockout rouser that amply demonstrates the band's ability to rock on successfully with other voices."^[2] Rock and Folk said it sounded like 60's rhythm 'n' blues.^[3]
