Draft:Thorictus bengalensis

Thorictus bengalensis Háva & Chakrovorty, 2024 is a species of myrmecophilous beetle in the family Dermestidae[1]. The species lies in the subfamily Thorictinae Agassiz, 1846, which comprises of 189 described species worldwide. This species is describe from the rooftop garden experimental garden of iForNature - Nature Club, located at Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The host ant species is Trichomyrmex destructor (Jerdon, 1851).
