Draft:The Sound and the Fury (Band)

The Sound and the Fury (TSATF):

Born in the '90s Kansas City suburbs, TSATF's journey ignited when high school pals Jeff Wood and Aaron Ogle kicked off their musical alliance. Joined by Jay Kassen and John Floyd Whitaker, the lineup solidified in 1998, blending '90s grunge and '70s metal vibes.

Rooted in grunge, their sound matured, embracing stoner rock and anthemic hooks. Influences span from Black Sabbath to Seal to TOOL to Tori Amos, evolving into a profound, genre-defying style.

A hiatus led to a 2019 return, ignited by the band's own progeny. With new energy, TSATF embarked on a creative journey.

Highlights: Debut album "Alter Ego" (1998), "Wisdom" (2002), and "Another Stage" (2004). The band's triumphant 2023 single, "Run," marked their resounding comeback.

With hundreds of shows played during their heyday, TSATF shared stages with Seether, Stone Sour, Puddle Of Mudd, Chevelle, Drowning Pool, Black Label Society and more, etching their mark in live rock history.

"Run" signaled the band's return, and fresh music is on the horizon. An unbreakable bond and passion drive TSATF's next chapter.
