The Scavengers were a British band formed in April 1992. They were initially noted for their pop rock/new wave sound, and visual style, that yielded the breakthrough hit single "Underneath the Stars" (1995). The Scavengers broke up in 2001. Since that time, the band has staged several brief reunions.
