They currently operate 9 physical retail locations while having a larger reach with their online store, beatgoeson.com. Spanning across Southern Ontario, The Beat goes On stores can currently be found in the following Ontario cities: Brantford , Burlington , Cambridge , Guelph, Hamilton , Kitchener, London , Oakville and Waterloo with Waterloo also being the location of their head office. The Beat Goes On buys & sells previously owned media such as records (LPs/Vinyl), CDs, Blu-Rays, DVDs, Collectibles, Next Gen & previous generation video games and consoles. The Beat Goes On also sells new CDs, records, audio accessories, and merchandise.

The Beat Goes On is currently a privately owned company and is not publicly traded.

"Beat Goes On" (BGO) was started in 1991. The venture was initiated by president and founder John Rocchetta, later joined by Vice President Will McRobb. The establishment soon expanded into multiple cities in Souther Ontario.

Over the years, BGO has expanded their catalogue of products to include New and Used CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, Vinyl, Games and more.

The LPs category comprises New LPs, Box Sets, Coloured Vinyl, New Releases, Used records, etc.

BGO's movie collection features a list of titles of 3D Blu-rays, 4K Blu-rays, Criterion Collection on Blu-ray, New Blu-rays, New DVDs, Steelbooks, TV Shows, and Used Blu-rays and DVDs.

  • Video Games

The video game section includes a variety of consoles both next gen and retro, videos games spanning the generations of Playstion, Xbox, Nintendo, Sega, Atari, controllers etc.

  • Accessories

Accessories offered include Audio Care, Cases, Slipmats, T-Shirts and more.
