Tatumella is a genus of Gram-negative bacteria. It is a rod shaped facultative anaerobe. The type species of this genus is Tatumella ptyseos.

The generic name was derived from the name of Harvey Tatum, a CDC microbiologist who worked on enteric Gram-negative rods[1]
