Dr.Susana Alo Tia (born 16th July,1965) is a Ghanaian politician and a member of the New Patroitic Party who hails from walewale in the North East Region,Ghana.[1][2]She holds an MSc in Communication for Innovation and  Development and PhD in Livelihoods (International Development and Applied Economics) from the University of Reading-United Kingdom, trained as a teacher in Tamale and taught for 10 years.

Dr.Susana Alo Tia worked as National Coordinator for Gender Promotion at the Ghana Institute of Linguistics, Literacy and Bible Translation ( GILLBT) in Ghana before taking up further studies in the United Kingdom.[3]She currently serves on the Board of the Ghana Free Zones Authority.[4]

She was born on 16th July,1965 in North East Region,Ghana. She holds an MSc in communication for Innovation and Development and PhD in livelihood(international Development and Applied Economics) from the University of reading in the United Kingdom.

She trained as a teacher in Tamale and taught for 10 years.

Politics edit

Dr.Susana Alo Tia contested in the primaries of the New Patroitic Party member of parliament for the West Mamprusi Municipal constituency.She polled 161 votes in that primary and Hajia Zuwera Lariba Abudu  obtained 275.[5] [6] [7] [8]

She is also the Senior Campaign Aide for the Vice president of Ghana Mahamudu Bawumia 2024 Campaign team.[9]
