Draft:Superman (DC Universe)

Clark Joseph Kent ( Kal-El), best known by his superhero persona Superman, is a superhero in the DC Universe series of films, based on the DC Comics character of the same name created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. In the films, he is a survivor from the destroyed planet Krypton who lands on Earth and develops superhuman abilities due to environmental differences between the planets and their respective star systems.

First appearing as the main protagonist of the film Superman (2025), the character is portrayed by David Corenswet.[1] Superman was previously portrayed by Henry Cavill in the DC Extended Universe, but was recast following the announcement of the DC Universe reboot by James Gunn in 2022.[2] Unlike the Superman of the DCEU, Superman in the DCU is depicted as residing in the Fortress of Solitude.[3]
