editSobhan Ganji was born on March 8, 1986, in Tehran, Iran. He studied Persian literature at Allameh Tabataba’i University for four years starting in 2004 and theater studies at University of Tehran from 2011.
Career
editSobhan Ganji is a multifaceted artist known for his punching short poetries, postmodern dramatic stories and cinematic essays. also he maded one of the first Persian language podcasts Motakka.
Poetry and writing: Ganji has published several works of poetry and prose. His postmodern novel “Face Book,” published in 2010 in France by the Persian publisher Naakojaa in Paris, was later rewritten and retitled “A is Whore What About You?” which is set to be released in 2024. He is also known for his English poetry collections, “The Thinnest Condom” (2022) and “Plastic Panther” (2023).
Music: As a musician, Ganji has released multiple albums and singles. Some of his notable works include:
