• Comment: Sources don't show WP:SIGCOV of Prescott, rather they are mostly about his works. See WP:GNG and WP:NAUTHOR to see the quality of sources required to establish notability. GMH Melbourne (talk) 01:51, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
  • Comment: There is an existing article with the same title as this draft, which is about a different person with the same name. If this draft is accepted, the existing primary page should be renamed with a disambiguator, and this draft should be made primary. The hatnote at the top of this draft indicates what the new title of the current primary should be.

Shaun Prescott (born 1984) is an Australian writer born in Manildra,[1] and based in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales.

Prescott has published two novels. An Australia Council grant helped fund the promotion of his first novel The Town, published in 2017 by Brow Books. His second novel Bon and Lesley was published by Giramound Press in 2022.

His work is characterised by surrealism and observations of contemporary Australian miscellanea. Critics place his writing in the lineage of Australian authors like David Ireland and Gerald Murnane.[2][3]

He is also known for his involvement with zine communities,[4] and as the Australian Editor of PC Gamer.[5]
