Sayli Salunkhe is an Indian television actress who works predominantly in Hindi television. She is best known as Vandana Karmarkar in Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si[1] and now notably as Vedika Sharma in Pukaar – Dil Se Dil Tak.[2]
Early life
editSayali Salunkhe was born on 30 April 1998 in Kalyan Mumbai India into a Hindi family.She was brought up along two siblings Sakshi Salunkhe and and a brother. She completed her scholling at Rita memorial school, Kalyan, Mumbai and K.M Aggarwal college, Kalyan.She went further to study acting in SRK film school,Thane, Mumbai. Salunkhe learnt dance during her early childhood and participated in school theatre plays where she was appreciated for her acting skills.[3]
Career
editSalunkhe started her acting career with Marathi television series Chhatriwali. In 2021, she debuted in Hindi television through StarPlus popular show Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali. She made a breakthrough in her career with her lead role in Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai. Since 2024, she is playing the lead role of Vedika Sharma in Pukaar – Dil Se Dil Tak opposite Abhishek Nigam.
Personal Life
editSayali Salunkhe is a pet lover and often takes photoshoot with dogs She is a trained dancer and has performed in various stage shows. Her favorite actors are Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.She is currently residing in Mumbai with her family. Sayli Salunkhe and Kushagre Dua were in a romantic relationship for 2.5 years. They met while working on a TV show Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali However, they decided to end their relationship in December due to differences in their goals and aspirations. The breakup was amicable, and they remain on good terms, wishing each other well. Neither Sayli nor Kushagre has publicly commented on their separation.[4]
