Samuel Ben Dunlap (February 22, 1888 – February 3, 1978)[1] was a justice of the Idaho Supreme Court from 1942 to 1945, when he was defeated in a statewide election, one of only two justices ever removed from the court in that way.

Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho. Born in St. Charles County, Mo., 1888. Democrat. Lawyer; mayor of Caldwell, Idaho, 1938-39; alternate delegate to Democratic National Convention from Idaho, 1940; justice of Idaho state supreme court, 1942-45; appointed 1942.[2]

Dunlap died in a hospital in Caldwell, Idaho, at the age of 89.[1]
