At Age 24, northwaite decided to go back to london one summer to temporarily join the physicist's union at the university of london and after that one trip, he continued to go back to london to that same union, thus he stated that "it bought back memories" and it "had the chance to catch up with old friends".
Later Life
At age 58, northwaite begun feeling sick on a regular basis and chose to resign his position as union member at harvard for permanent retirement and moved back to london to buy out an apartment to isolate himself. as northwaite grew sicker, his closest friends and family grew concerned and thought he was already "going to die" when they thought he was still out there to spread his legacy, but northwaite protested and said "my fate is inevitable and the prognosis for my illness will probably likely be for several more years to come". after that, northwaite's closest friends and family continued to regularly visit him, but, as northwaite grew even sicker, he begun to isolate himself to the point that he totally banned visitors from visiting him.
