River, Stay 'Way From My Door is a 1931 song written by Mort Dixon, Harry M. Woods[1]. In the same year it was recorded for the first by Jimmie Noone and his orchestra[2]. However, its most famous rendition was by Frank Sinatra in 1960 for Capitol Records[3], backed by a Nelson Riddle orchestra[4]. Sinatra's version featured on the 1961 compilation album All The Way[5] and was included as a bonus track on Frank Sinatra's album Come Swing With Me! in the following year.
