Presentation College Carlow, known locally as “The Pres” is a Catholic co-educational school situated on the R726 Hacketstown Road south of Pollerton, south east of Rathnapish, and is approximately 2 km from the town centre of Carlow. The principal of the school is Ray Murray. Around 800 students attend the school. The school approved a new extension in 2017[1] and will be getting several new buildings, as part of a plan to accommodate 1000 students. There are 3 phases, with Phase 1 being near completion as of November 2023. The official opening date is yet to be released, but is expected to open in summer 2024.
