Una historia de policías (Spanish: Policemen Story) is a police novel by writer Esteban Navarro published 2017 by the publishing house Platja de Ákaba.[1] The novella was published on 1 March 2017 and embroiled in a great controversy when on 7 April (five weeks later), the Commissariat of'Osca denounced its author for, presumably, Promote-use the status of the police.[2]

Argument

edit

Five policies, which will begin together with the Police School of 'Àvila, with their friends, end up, after many vicissitudes, at the police station in'Osca, with the arrival of 'one in one, after a periple of gairebé vint anys in the Cos and in different templates for all Espanya.

The protagonists: Lorenzo, Antonio, Juan Carlos, Jorge and Joaquín, exercise with agents in the respective destinations, ends that all coincide with Osca. During their professional career, everyone is willing to help with petits favors that are demanded and owed. It ends that one day, when they are already in Osca, one of them, Antonio, requests a favor that they will undertake at all costs at the most insidious cost of corruption police.[3][4]

Controversy

edit

Given that the author has denied this in various media, the truth is that the press insists that the relationship between the publication of this novel, and the file opened by the General Directorate of the Police, following an anonymous complaint by Osca, is related to the publication of the work.[5][6]

In some cases, it is indicated that the author will finally have to leave the police force after a few years of service, leaving several serrells alone with the identification of the complainants, if only the novel is going to obtain its six paper editions. .[7][8]

Osca Representation

edit

On 10 February 2019, Business Insider's list will include this novel, the representative of the city of Osca,[clarification needed] in a selection titled a book per province.[9][10]
